I'm at the point where I basically have no longer any use for Claude; OpenAI has surpassed it in basically absolutely every category except agent harness, codex sucks a bit more than Claude code but both massively suck
Codex sucks, don't know how people can use this shit. the model is on an entirely different category to opus, many many times better, but the harness cucks it so much.
If you vibe hard enough, AI will print you a gun that shoots backwards. Learning what to build and what not to build will be riddle with hard lessons.
we're all still wildly underestimating how radically different the world will look after AI. the Industrial Revolution was a rounding error in both impact and speed compared to what's coming, yet most people still think organizations, jobs, and cities will just "adopt AI as a tool" instead of being completely remade by it.

I recently fired my training coach (meal and training session planning) and hired an LLM to do the job. Best trainer I've had thus far. It definitely helps that I've probably read around 20 books on physical training for climbers and another ~20 books on sports nutrition, so I can direct the LLM with more precision. But this is honestly absolutely mind blowing.
